Data and privacy

Agree which materials, services and permissions the work requires.

You can make a first enquiry without sending files. When the work requires your materials, we agree how they will be used and who will have access.

Agree the materials and participants, select services suitable for the data, and define who approves sending and publishing.

Materials and access

We agree:

  • which files are needed and where they will be stored;
  • who can view or change them;
  • which services may process the material;
  • who keeps access after the engagement and when it ends.

Initial tests use copies so that original files are preserved. Confidential project materials stay in the agreed private space.

Services and actions

The chosen tools need to fit your organisation’s rules and the type of data being used. We review their settings and terms before using the relevant materials.

Permission to read a file and permission to send or publish it are separate decisions. We agree who approves these actions and how changes can be stopped or reversed.

At the end of the work

We confirm which materials and settings you retain, remove access that is no longer needed and follow the agreed retention or deletion arrangements. If something goes wrong, we stop the affected operation and notify the responsible people before resuming it.

How we work explains how these arrangements fit into the engagement. Write to us to discuss your needs.
